    Taco & Tequila Festival returns to LMCU Ballpark on Saturday, May 3rd. Michigan’s Original Taco & Tequila Festival will feature 60+ one-of-a-kind tacos, complemented by 150+ tequila, margarita, beer, cider, and seltzer selections.  There will also be a churro eating contest, live music from the Leaky Tikis (Jimmy Buffet tribute band, plus entertainment from Alex the Fire Breather and a team of performers!     The ‘Caps Kids Clinic will be offered in 2025 for boy and girls ages 8-12! Thursday, June 19th & Friday, June 20th 8:30am – 9:00am – Check in 9:00am – 12:30pm – Clinic followed by lunch Each participant will receive a skills clinic with Whitecaps Coaches & Players, t-shirt, gift bag, lunch both days, and 2 lawn tickets to the Whitecaps game on Friday, June 20th! Parents/Guardians may stay during the clinic to watch, work, or relax at the ballpark during the duration of the clinic.   • Ted Rasberry Youth League All-Star Game

    Join us at the Ted Rasberry Youth League’s All-Star Game! This event is free to attend and the concession stand will be open. Come to the game and support the all-stars and staff who have hit it out of the park this year! Gates Open - 6:00 PM Game 1 - 7:00 PM Game 2 - 8:30 PM

  • LMCU Bridge Run & Bib Pickup

    We are excited to bring back Kids Dash with Crash of the West Michigan Whitecaps, which will take place at 11:50am on Saturday, September 13 at LMCU Ballpark. The event will feature a 200 meter and 400 meter option, so kids can select one or both. Bib pickup for the Sunday event will occur at the LMCU Ballpark from 10am to 11:45am, so come pick up your bib and stay to cheer your future track star on!     Take the plunge for a great cause! Join us on February 14, 2026 at LMCU Ballpark for the Grand Rapids Polar Plunge benefiting Special Olympics Michigan. Plunger check-in begins at 12:00 PM, with the plunge at 2:00 PM, followed by an After Splash Bash. Costumes encouraged!
